About

Jack Eatherley is a West London watercolour painter, living and working around Chiswick, Gunnersbury and Acton. He studied History of Art at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Jack’s work often describes atmospheric landscapes, wide skies and the soft light at either end of the day. His paintings begin with places he knows and returns to. Each is painted loosely, letting the watercolour do some of the work, and only the ones that capture the feeling of a place make it out of the studio.

In a world of scrolling and noise, the work is an invitation to look up, put the phone down and notice what’s around you.

Alongside painting, Jack has spent many years creating social-impact projects in sport and the arts, for large organisations and local communities. He brings that same spirit to teaching watercolour.
