These terms apply to your use of jjeatherley.com and to any order you place with J.J. Eatherley ("we", "us"). Please read them before ordering. By placing an order you agree to them.
About us
J.J. Eatherley is a West London artist selling original watercolours, limited-edition prints and commissions, and offering watercolour lessons. You can reach us at jack@jjeatherley.com.
Ordering
When you place an order we will confirm it by email. A contract is formed once we accept your order. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable or a price is shown in error, and will refund any payment already taken.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details.
Original works
Each original is a one-of-one watercolour. Once sold it is removed from sale. Colours may vary slightly from how they appear on your screen.
Limited-edition prints
Prints are produced to order and are limited to 100 per piece across all sizes. Each is signed and numbered. Minor variation in colour and trimming is normal for fine-art printing.
Commissions
Commissions are made to your brief and are personal to you. Because they are bespoke, they are non-refundable once work has begun, except where the item is faulty or not as described. We agree scope, timing and price with you before starting.
Delivery
We aim to dispatch in-stock items promptly and will give an estimated timescale for prints and commissions. Risk passes to you on delivery. Please check your order on arrival and tell us quickly about any damage.
Cancellations and returns
If you are a consumer in the UK you may cancel most orders within 14 days of receiving them and return them unused, in their original condition, for a refund, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. This does not apply to commissioned or personalised work. Faulty or misdescribed items can always be returned under your statutory rights. Please email us first and we will arrange it.
Intellectual property
All artwork, images and text on this site remain the property of J.J. Eatherley. Buying a work does not transfer copyright or any reproduction rights.
Our responsibility
We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise our liability is limited to the price of the item concerned.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
